The most amazing part about Gorillaz is that they use cartoon expressions of themselves to represent what they couldn’t by showing themselves on stage. It creates a barrier leaving the fan always wondering further about the meaning of the lyrics.
There needs to be more music like this with less focus on the ‘avatar’ on the artist seperate from their musical abilities
